Transport Topics Special Report
The government's new truck safety regime, Compliance, Safety, Accountability (formerly known as CSA 2010), is now in effect.
A year ago, Transport Topics published the first special report on CSA as a way to help readers understand the parameters of a program that promises to change forever the way federal regulators and trucking companies view safety compliance.
Today, CSA measures compliance in seven behavioral categories and gives investigators for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration a trove of data upon which to target carriers that may be operating in an unsafe manner.
This new special report is to keep readers abreast of the latest developments and to provide guidance in how to use the program to enhance their safety compliance.
