On June 29th, agents Josh Gallagher, Sean Doyle, and Chris Miller will be behind the United Insurance booths at the 8th annual Maine Barbecue Showdown and 3rd annual Battle of the Bands at Harvest Hill Farms in Mechanic Falls. The event will pit top barbecue masters against each other in several categories, accompanied by a musical showdown. In February, athletes from around the world flocked to Presque Isle for the 2014 IBU Youth/Junior Biathlon Championships. From February 28th to March 7th, the IBU crowned world champions in 16 different events.

More children will have the opportunity to experience Museum L-A’s hands-on learning programs because of a donation from United Insurance of Lewiston. Marcia Hartt, United Insurance Director of Marketing and Ron Guerin, United Insurance Managing Partner, presented a check of $500 to Museum L-A Executive Director Rachel Desgrosseilliers and museum educator Joan Beal. The donation will fund scholarships for children to participate in museum programs.
